 Hi, I'm Paul van der Slot.

I am an experienced Software Engineer / Architect, with a passion for Domain-Driven Design, Clean Code, and Collaborative Design.

I'm is proactive, analytically strong, socially skilled, engaged, and pragmatic. In my work, I stand out for quickly picking up information and not shying away from difficult dilemmas. Besides being technically knowledgeable, I values understanding the functional aspects of what I'm working on. My academic background helps me ask critical questions and substantiate my vision on a problem. I'm always looking for the big picture and I'm not someone who blindly builds features.

Software quality is a top priority to me. Software should be simple, maintainable and modular. I am also interested in several fields related to Software Engineering: I pay attention to architecture, have an agile mindset, and an interest in product management. I enjoy sharing my insights, both in the workplace and at conferences.
